Storysloom is a publishing services company for independent authors in the United States. We edit, design, format and publish books on our authors' own accounts, and they keep every right and every royalty.

Why Storysloom exists
James started Storysloom in 2025 after watching too many writers finish a manuscript and then stall.
Some got stuck on store rules and rejected files. Some paid a cover designer who disappeared halfway through. Others called agencies that wouldn't name a price until a sales pitch, then asked for a share of royalties on top.
The idea was simple: one team that takes a finished manuscript the whole way to a live book, with the price written on the page, the book published on the author's own accounts, and every right left with the author.
Since then we've finished 27 books with authors across the US, in genres from romance to business.
