Editing that keeps your voice and fixes what readers would trip on
Every edit comes back as tracked changes in your own file, with notes that explain why. You accept or reject each change, then we do a follow-up pass on what you changed.

Questions about Book Editing
Will editing change my voice?
No. A good edit makes you sound more like yourself. We fix errors and smooth rough spots, and every change is tracked so you have the final say.
What's the difference between a copyedit and a proofread?
A copyedit fixes grammar, consistency and clarity line by line. A proofread is the final check for typos after the edit and formatting are done.
How is the price set?
By word count and level of edit. Each price on this page covers a set number of words, and longer books are $12 per extra 1,000 words for copyediting.
